• Emergency contact: name and phone number of your designated emergency contact

• Send class reminders, schedule updates, and attendance notifications

3. SMS/Text Messaging

If you opt in to SMS notifications, we may send you text messages related to:

Opt-in: SMS messaging is opt-in only. You must explicitly enable SMS notifications in your account profile. We will never send you text messages unless you have opted in.

Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us, or by disabling SMS notifications in your account profile. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your activity and account settings.

Carriers: SMS messages are sent via Twilio. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Your school/organization: Administrators and instructors at the martial arts school or organization you belong to can access your membership information to manage your account, track attendance, and communicate with you.
• Service providers: We use third-party services to process payments (Stripe), send emails (SMTP providers), and send text messages (Twilio). These providers access only the data necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, and access controls. Payment information is processed through PCI-compliant third-party providers and is never stored on our servers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If your membership is cancelled, we may retain certain information as required for legal, accounting, or business purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting your school administrator or emailing us.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of marketing communications

Our platform may be used to manage memberships for minors participating in martial arts programs. In such cases, account information is collected and managed by the minor's parent or legal guardian, or by the school administrator with parental consent.
